What the letters mean
S and A are tools that solve more than one match problem when you can name the target. B is strong when you place it well. C still needs a live test, has a teammate downside, or has conflicting effect text. Movement ranks high because eight-player matches are decided by who arrives. Other September lists put Freeze Gun and Rocket Punch above the Grappling Hook. This board does not. Both orders are editorial.

Two jobs, two lists. Open a child page for the long table. This hub is the snapshot.
S tier
Player decision Use it when the landing is the ball, the open lane, or a recovery. Leave Automatic Item Use off.
Player decision Best when you can name the landing. Pair it with a second job you can still use after you arrive.
A tier
Player decision Name the player who is about to score, then keep a second tool for the loose ball.
Player decision Freeze the next touch, and already know who finishes. Do not treat the rarity word as power.
Player decision Trigger it when the challenge is real. Pair it with movement so you can leave after the hit fails.
B tier
Player decision Use it in the box, then switch back to the kick before you pass.
Player decision Drop it in your third on their approach and leave yourself an outlet.
Player decision Place the wall on the shot, offset from the keeper's eyes, and leave a restart lane.
Player decision Test it in practice on a loose ball. Keep it only if your team ends up with the ball.
C tier
Player decision Fire it only when your side collects. Do not fire it through your keeper.
Player decision Only on a run the other team is forced to take. Do not mine your own goal mouth.
Player decision Test one shot in practice and notice the recovery before it is your only button.
Player decision Keep it when you can see the speed change. Do not chase the roll for the rarity word.
Player decision Read the card. If the buff is long and obvious, it can be a striker button. If it is a short unnamed boost, do not spend the loadout on it.
